Reformation Reading
Yesterday we started our five week series looking back at the Protestant Reformation. We mentioned the book above, "The Unquenchable Flame" by Michael Reeves, as a great introductory read to some Reformation history.
Listed below are a few other books our pastors would recommend to read if you want to learn more about the Reformation.
"Here I Stand", Roland Bainton: Great biography on Martin Luther
"Theology of the Reformers", Timothy George: Survey of what the Reformers thought and believed
"The Reformation: How a Monk and a Mallet Changed the World", Stephen J. Nichols: Introduction to the major reformation movements
"John Calvin: A Biography", T.H.L. Parker: Good, short biography on John Calvin, another central figure in the Reformation
